silent, absorbed in reading.
Tide comes in, goes out.

Reading as she paints,
each aware of the other,
together in their passions.

Lounging at poolside,
she’s in her favorite place.
Languid days float by.

sea oats
A week at the beach–
leave behind the day-to-day.
Sea oats and sand dunes.

moscow mule
We drink Moscow Mules
after a day in the sun.
Who’s red now?

end of the road
An odd destination,
the end of the road.
